My Shoe Holidays

I was shiny and clean we  were getting ready to go Hokitika this person was wearing  me . I stept on sand some sand got in me. I was clean In till this girl got me wet and dirty and sandy. I got on this  rock then there was a bug on me  it looked like a ladybug it looked very big to me then We kept walking . We  walk back to the the beach she took me off her feet  .she run to the sand then she was looking for me but it took a long time then she founded  me.

We went to a shop I never been in it looked like a shoe place.

She took me off again to try a peer shoes like me .

I was scared I thought she get them but she didn't.

Then I was going to a cafe there a lot of people looking at me I was just looking down . then she sat down eating . I  was on the floor under a table  

Then I was going to the car .findley were going now I really didn't like it there  was a lot of people looking at me . There was blanket  on me its was dark I couldn't see so we looking at old house it looked like very old it was broken window and old safe in there she took me in a house to look. I  stepped on  glass and water  was dripping on me. It was so sunny the water dried on me and this person stept on me it looked like she didn't care

I got stepped on I alway wonder why am I down here .

I went in the car again to go home.  

She took me off and  run outside and left me in her room under her bed It was dark we  couldn't  see It was to dark.

Father's Day

Father's day is special because it's the day  we should say thank you

because  they look after us and help us and they keep us safe

and dry and warm we work on this because we love them . they always there for us like are mum. They responsible to look after us . We did this for social studies.

Shanty town

In shanty town we all learnt about toys  and then we went to groups to do fun Games.

We work as a team we  did the hope and the stick

And there a cat it's walking ever Were .When the whistle go we go to the another game  it's called horse shoe you throw it into the pole we get Points  . Then we learnt to do the jump Rope .

Then we could go in the dolls or the trains I went to the dolls  and some girls and two boys went in there  we learnt how they made from some made from wood they were really cool.

Then we saw a weka  and then the bell ring we got something to eat we had A little play then we all went  back  and with my group I had Amiee boy Morgan and Liam. William and Daniel . Then went to the room the shanty town Lady was talking about the toys then we went to group games and we called high rollers we went to blind folded game then we went to do pick sticks then letters game try to make a word then went  gold finding we all found some but I got the most it’s was really fun

A guy gave Amiee a pen me and were the Amiee only girls in the team the games were really fun then the bell ring there one more game it's stilt's  I went on the long one I wouldn't move it s really scary  we didn't wear shanty town  clothes. The horse shoe  was made from metal . My fravourite  game was jump Rope . It was really Fun . Now one didn't now the cat's Name . Thats  what we learnt about shanty Town .

Balloon car

On Thursday 4 August we made a balloon car for a science project  and I had to get a lot of bits  for my balloon car and then I got a  long 1.5 liter bottle for the bass of my car then I some sissors and cut some hole’s for the toothpicks for the bottle gaps of the milk bottles then I got for straws so then I can blow the balloons up.for the milk caps you poke a hole in with a nail and I got two balloons the balloon colours  were yellow and  blue.my first try with my balloon car it went 88 cm my second try went to 77cm my lucky last was 400 m and  380 cm  and it was flying a little bit .thats how I made my balloon car . by Caitlin
